Want a young, active dog to join you at the beach or hikes? Bane #2 is your boy! This young lab has energy to burn. He loves people, other dogs, water and just hanging out. Bane will make a great runner if you like to jog, he’s not old enough now for long distance running because at 6 months he’s still growing. But this is the time to train him on how you want him act, and how you want him to get along with people and other dogs. Bane has a sweet heart, loves others (people and dogs), and he is gentle with little puppies and good with my senior dogs too. So far he hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like. If you would like Bane to become your new family member, please ask us all about him!For additional information about Bane #2 please email Shana Luzusky at shana2576@gmail.com.IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full service website, http://labs4rescue.dog/. Lil Wayne is 3 years old and weighs 83 pounds. Wayne was surrendered to a high kill shelter. The shelter decided it was just too hard to get large, black dogs adopted so they decided to euthanize him rather than even putting him up for adoption. It is unbelievable that they were not even going to give this great fellow a chance. Wayne is a gorgeous, goofy, gentle giant who is going to make a great lifetime companion for some lucky person! Lil Wayne is a sweetheart who loves to snuggle on the couch with you. He loves to play with other dogs and he gets so excited, he looks like an overgrown puppy. He loves to go for walks. He sits of request. He is crate trained and house trained. Because he is a large fellow and he can get excited his first few minutes when he goes out for a walk.... he does need an experienced adopter. Meet Lil Luke #31! Luke is an approximately 2-3 year old, petite 30 lb, male, chocolate lab mix. Luke is fully grown so the perfect size for an apartment, smaller home or family looking for a pocket sized Lab! Luke is a gentleman, a warrior and a work in progress all rolled in to one hidden gem of a package. This poor guy was rescued out of an abusive hoarding situation which left some emotional scarring that needs to be patiently and gently addressed. He is making great strides and is doing much better since being with his foster family. He enjoys romps in the yard with his foster fur sisters and loves to end the day cuddled with foster mom on the couch doing some Netflixing. Kisses are rare but they are coming more often, as he still is playing hard to get. Physically he is healthy and eats well. Luke is learning to walk with his leash but starts out a little nervous. He is housebroken and learning commands. He loves his toys and chewy bones. I believe Luke would thrive best with no small human children. He would adore a family with other young dogs. Please contact us if you would like Luke to join your family! For additional information about Luke #31 please email Deb Cook Keavy at deb.cook.keavy@labs4rescue.org.IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full service website, http://labs4rescue.dog/. Tripp #2 is a gorgeous little 12 week old puppy who weighs 15 pounds. As you can tell from his photos he is a very calm and compliant little puppy. He is crate trained and working on house training. Tripp is great with other dogs. He loves to be held and he is a good snuggler. Because he is a very young puppy, he needs an adopter who is home most of the day and he needs a fenced yard. For additional information about Tripp #2 please email Jennifer Wright at jenniferwright88@cox.net.IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full service website, http://labs4rescue.dog/.
