Meet Annabelle! Miss Annabelle is a sweet mini five year old pitty mix. At about 40 pounds, she offers total love to all people she encounters. She is a smart, fun and affectionate girl. She loves people so much! Annabelle enjoys going for car rides, camping, and paddle boarding. She loves the water. She enjoys the mental stimulation of walks and hikes. She is very well trained on all her basic commands. She is extremely treat motivated. Annabelle also enjoys relaxation time with folks. She is not very comfortable with all other dogs. So for now, we recommend her to a one dog only home. She is currently in training and has full, very promising behavioral assessment. ARNNE supports the rescue/critical care/boarding expenses of local town/city animal control officers that otherwise only have authorization to vaccinate or euthanize. Every life is precious but it takes funds to save lives. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. All animals have had a thorough exam, are treated for any parasites or infections, spay/neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. For more information, please fill out an adoption request form at www.arnne.org. Email or call the shelter at 603-233-4801 and a volunteer will return your call. Introducing Leo… Leo is an 8 pound Pomino (Miniature Alaskan Eskimo-Pomeranian mix). Leo is a sweet eight year old boy who is seeking a loving all adult home. He is a bit shy with strangers but warms very fast and has shown excellent bonding skills! This boy is literally looking for “his person” or “people” to love! He is very attentive to his people and will follow about with constant watch and readiness for affection. Leo is currently in a foster home with several dogs and gets along with all. He does not display a lot of interest in really bonding to or playing with the other canines as much as he does with humans. He enjoys squeaky toys and will engage in fun puppy play with “his people”. He even plays patty cake! Leo is also tolerant of cats. Leo is not a fan of car rides. He loves to go walking and exploring. He enjoys being brushed and groomed. His perfect home would be a quiet one. Rosko is a 4-5 year old Boxer mix weighing about 60 lbs. He was found by a good samaritan in FL dodging cars on I-95. He had a rope still hanging from his neck, so he had probably been tied up somewhere and broke free. An amazing rescue in FL got him vaccinated, neutered, and checked out. He is now looking for his happy ending here in New England! Rosko is a very playful and loving dog! He does great with adults, older children and other dogs of all sizes. No cats please. He rides great in the car and knows the command "sit", but he is working on learning other commands too. He is on anti-seizure meds that cost about $25 a month through an online pharmacy. He is just a truly friendly guy who loves to give love! This dog is available for adoption through the Greater Derry Humane Society. Please visit derryhumanesociety.com to fill out an application.

Sadie is a 10 years young Miniature Pinscher Mix with a moderate level of energy. Sadie wants to use all of her energy to play with you! She enjoys paying "chase" with her people and is a "speed racer" in her play. She also enjoys snuggling up for some chill time. Sadie gets along great with other dogs and is fine with cats. She hasn't had much exposure to children. A home with no children or one with older children would likely work best for her. Sadie is a little shy when meeting strangers for the first time, but warms up very quickly. She was raised in a home full of love. She is in need of a new home because her human mom passed away and the difficult circumstances that her family has faced since then, have led to the desire to want a new, best possible home for Sadie. This sweet beautiful gal has so much to offer to a new perfect home. If you are interested in adopting Sadie, please fill out an application at: www.arnne.org. For questions about Sadie, please email: adoption@arnne.org or call the rescue at 603-233-4801, and a volunteer will return your call.
