Please meet Gracie and Buddy. They are a bonded pair who complement each other in every way. They are sweet and affectionate and will add double the joy and love offered to a new family/home. Gracie is a beautiful 10 pound chocolate colored Chihuahua mix who is 5.5 years old. We are not sure if it is a coincidence with her name, but she is tiny, elegant, super sweet, and graceful. Buddy is a 6 year old mini Greyhound/Schnauzer mix who weighs 12 pounds. His coloring is gray, white, and black. He has the long legs of a mini greyhound, and the wiry coat of a Schnauzer. All this mixed together reveals such cuteness that we wonder if he should star in a Disney movie! Both answer to their names, know basic commands, are house trained & crate trained, travel well for car rides, and good at the groomers. Both have medium energy levels. Buddy loves to be snuggled and held! They have been with human children 5 and up. They have not been around many other dogs. They have not been cat tested but are willing to meet a family cat to verify their welcome of a home with a kitty. Gracie is the more inquisitive one of the pair, but also looks to Buddy for confidence and best buddy companionship. They have been raised together in a very loving nurturing home. The reason for their rehome is a chronic health condition requiring their original Mom’s relocation and supportive efforts to a family member. ARNNE supports the rescue/critical care/boarding expenses of local town/city animal control officers that otherwise only have authorization to vaccinate or euthanize. Every life is precious but it takes funds to save lives. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. All animals have had a thorough exam, are treated for any parasites or infections, spay/neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. For more information, please fill out an adoption request form at www.arnne.org. Email or call the shelter at 603-233-4801 and a volunteer will return your call. Mimi is a very loving 10 years young Yorkie/Silky Terrier mix. She loves to get belly rubs, go for car rides and walks, and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle! She is pretty much a laid back couch potato but still enjoys a good game of fetch! Even though she is 10, she does need her exercise. Mimi gets along well with dogs of all sizes after a proper introduction. She loves all people she has met, but hasn't had experience yet with young children. She is working on gentle treat taking, so a home with no children or only older children would be best. Mimi knows some basic commands and is house trained. She will make a beautiful addition to the right family! Meet Roxie! This sweet Boston Terrier mix is about 3 years old. She is affectionate, curious, and goofy! Roxie loves people, and her favorite things are getting belly rubs and playing with her toys. She doesn't mind cats at all, but she would like to be the only dog in her home. Roxie has not been tested around children, but she has good manners. She knows some basic commands and is house trained and crate trained. If you are looking for an awesome, happy companion, Roxie just may be your girl!
