Sweet little Abbie has joined the Animal Rescue Network of New England (ARNNE) in Pelham, NH and is actively looking for her furever home (check out her photos and videos). She is 5 years old and came from the Pasadena, TX Animal Shelter where she was surrender by her owner (we're not sure why). Abbie is a friendly little Hound Mix who is 30 pounds and is 5 years old. She loves hanging out with people and playing with toys. Dismantling tennis balls is one of her favorite activities. Abbie is a joy to be around and an easy, good-natured dog. She seems to be a little afraid or unsure about cats (stays away from them) and has been around kids ages 7-11 years old and has done well with them. She's affectionate but is not much of a face licker. Abbie is now accepting adoption applications. If you are interested in giving Abbie a loving home, please apply here ?: https://arnne.org/adopt/adoption-form/ For questions, please email: adoption@arnne.org. ARNNE supports the rescue/critical care/boarding expenses of local town/city animal control officers that otherwise only have authorization to vaccinate or euthanize. Every life is precious but it takes funds to save lives. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. All animals have had a thorough exam, are treated for any parasites or infections, spay/neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. See our adoptable pets at our Pet Adoption Day. Zion is an 8-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier/ Border Collie Mix puppy. He weighs about 54 pounds and is eager, and willing to work for rewards. Zion is bright & enthusiastic boy who has excelled in learning his basic commands. He is house and crate trained and will even ring a bell to go outside. This handsome boy loves to go for car rides, walks, and runs. Due his energy level and zealous big puppy-ness, his ideal home would be with active adults who are familiar with Bully breeds. Zion is attending doggie daycare and plays well with a variety of dogs. He does have some reactivity on leash but has been working with a trainer to help manage that behavior. He has not been cat tested. Zion is looking for his dedicated person or family and his big, joyful heart is ready to be rewarded with love.
