Meet Annabelle! Miss Annabelle is a sweet mini five year old pitty mix. At about 40 pounds, she offers total love to all people she encounters. She is a smart, fun and affectionate girl. She loves people so much! Annabelle enjoys going for car rides, camping, and paddle boarding. She loves the water. She enjoys the mental stimulation of walks and hikes. She is very well trained on all her basic commands. She is extremely treat motivated. Annabelle also enjoys relaxation time with folks. She is not very comfortable with all other dogs. So for now, we recommend her to a one dog only home. She is currently in training and has full, very promising behavioral assessment. ARNNE supports the rescue/critical care/boarding expenses of local town/city animal control officers that otherwise only have authorization to vaccinate or euthanize. Every life is precious but it takes funds to save lives. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. All animals have had a thorough exam, are treated for any parasites or infections, spay/neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. For more information, please fill out an adoption request form at www.arnne.org. Email or call the shelter at 603-233-4801 and a volunteer will return your call. Meet Flash! This adorable 37 pound, 2 year old boy was found abandoned in a park in TX. He is 2 years old and is thought to be a Basenji or Kelpie mix. Poor Flash was stuck at a loud, overcrowded shelter for 5 months and started losing his hair from the stress of shelter life. An opportunity became available for Flash to be transported to NH and into a foster home while he awaits his forever home. Flash's foster mom describes him as loving, sweet, playful and easy going. He does well with children, dogs, cats and even birds. Adoption fees rarely cover the expenses of rescuing, boarding and providing exemplary medical care to the animals in our program. Need a partner to share a PB sandwich with while snuggling under the covers? Well, you have found your gal! Lily is a sweet girl that is 4 years old and weighs 64 lbs. DNA testing showed she is a mix of Labrador Retriever, Catahoula Leopard Dog, and Foxhound. She loves people and of course sharing her PB sandwiches. She can be happy laying around the house because she loves her humans, but she prefers to be outside exploring. Lily is house trained and crate trained and has been fed freely. She is doing constant behavior/command training and is very smart. She has lived with children and tends to get excited, so it is recommended that she is in a home with kids 14 years or older. Lily has lived with cats and pays no mind to them. Since she does love all the attention to herself, it would be best if there are no other dogs in the home. Lily would really enjoy a farm or country setting. Rosko is a 4-5 year old Boxer mix weighing about 60 lbs. He was found by a good samaritan in FL dodging cars on I-95. He had a rope still hanging from his neck, so he had probably been tied up somewhere and broke free. An amazing rescue in FL got him vaccinated, neutered, and checked out. He is now looking for his happy ending here in New England! Rosko is a very playful and loving dog! He does great with adults, older children and other dogs of all sizes. No cats please. He rides great in the car and knows the command "sit", but he is working on learning other commands too. He is on anti-seizure meds that cost about $25 a month through an online pharmacy. He is just a truly friendly guy who loves to give love! This dog is available for adoption through the Greater Derry Humane Society. Please visit derryhumanesociety.com to fill out an application.
